In my ten years of cleaning homes, I’ve used a lot of different vacuums. I can tell you that most of them just stink. They are either too heavy, too clunky, they kick up dirt, they spew dirt, the suction isn’t good, or the attachments are useless. Because of this, I’ve always dreamed of designing my own vacuum. It would be sleek, come apart easily, and the attachments would actually be useful.
But, I don’t have to design my own vacuum because I’ve found my favorite one! Last month, I had the pleasure of using one of my client’s vacuums. It was a Shark Navigator Lift Away, and it was love at first sight. So, in an effort to use quality, safe, and efficient cleaning equipment, I went out and bought my own Shark vacuum.

What really makes this vacuum is the fact that the entire canister lifts off of the carpet roller, so you can walk around and vacuum hardwood floors without having an annoying canister rolling behind you, bumping into walls, knocking things over, etc. I love love love this feature.

The other defining feature of the vacuum, that honestly was one of the main selling points for me, is the hardwood floor attachment. Check this out:
The hardwood floor attachment has a microfiber cloth that velcros to the bottom, so that while you’re vacuuming, it dusts the floors behind it. How cool is that?
I have used it in my clients’ homes and so far it works wonderfully! The suction is amazing, it vacuums carpets like nothing I’ve ever seen. Plus it comes with all sorts of attachments that tackle pet hair, underneath appliances, stairs, etc.
For the safety and wellbeing of my clients, I can rest easy knowing that the canister has the anti-allergen complete seal technology that guarantees no dust gets out of that canister unless you open it. I always dump the canister after each house, but it’s just another measure to make sure I’m not cross-contaminating. Because that’s gross, come on.
